Volleyball Recap: SouthLake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

SouthLake Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

SouthLake Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. SouthLake Christian Academy will face off against rival Hickory Grove Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Metrolina Christian Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Gaston Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
