Gunderson entered their tilt with Overfelt on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Royals. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Talia Abuhamid and Julie Ordaz did most of the damage at the plate: Abuhamid went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Ordaz got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chiemi Wong, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Gunderson's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Overfelt, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
