Football Recap: Middletown Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Middletown can now relate to. They took a hard 21-6 fall against the St. Xavier Bombers on Friday. The matchup marked the Middies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Middletown's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3. As for St. Xavier, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Xavier, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-14 defeat against Olentangy Orange on the 5th.
