Softball Recap: South Hadley Comes Up Short

South Hadley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Turners Falls Indians. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

South Hadley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Turners Falls, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Hadley will welcome Southwick Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.67 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Turners Falls, they will challenge Hopkins Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
