Mountainair had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 64-27 victory over the Hondo Valley Eagles. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Mountainair has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Hondo Valley, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9.
