Covington-Douglas won the last time they faced Olive and things went their way on Thursday too. Covington-Douglas blew past Olive 42-6. The result was nothing new for Covington-Douglas, who have now won five games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Covington-Douglas didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Cooper Wheeler led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Rylan Fisher also rushed for 102 rushing yards, which is notable because Covington-Douglas is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.

The victory got Covington-Douglas back to even at 5-5. As for Olive, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
