Softball Recap: Keene Blackbirds vs. Portsmouth Clippers

Keene extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 3-15. They came up short against the Portsmouth Clippers, falling 14-0. The Blackbirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Clippers from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

As for Portsmouth, they pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The result was nothing new for the Clippers, who have now won six matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Coming up, Keene will face off against Spaulding at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
