Football Recap: Soddy Daisy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Soddy Daisy lost against East Hamilton back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Hurricanes. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luke Dodd threw for 67 yards on six of nine attempts. Elijah Waters was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards. On the ground, Logan Alexander rushed for 47 yards.

East Hamilton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyatt Miller, who rushed for 40 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Another rusher making a difference was Jaden Haywood, who rushed for 96 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Soddy Daisy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for East Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Soddy Daisy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 32-25 loss against Lenoir City on the 30th. As for East Hamilton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 50-48 defeat against McMinn County on the 31st.
