Basketball Recap: Upper Darby Comes Up Short

Upper Darby lost against Ridley back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Upper Darby Royals fell 47-34 to the Ridley Raiders. The Royals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Upper Darby's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Ridley, they moved to 4-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Upper Darby and Ridley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Upper Darby (ranked 385th) will meet Lower Merion (ranked 168th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridley will face off against Garnet Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 395 places (410 vs. 15).
