Mandeville proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 39) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Fontainebleau Bulldogs 33-30. The victory continues a trend for the Skippers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mandeville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alanna Benoit, who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Benoit has scored at least a third of the Skippers' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Arnone, who earned seven points and three steals.

Fontainebleau's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Edrionne Cooper, who had nine points and seven boards. Thanks to that strong game, Cooper now owns an excellent 47.8% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Margrit Pelto, who put up seven points and nine rebounds.

The win got Mandeville back to even at 2-2. As for Fontainebleau, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Mandeville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-26 defeat against Slidell on the 25th. As for Fontainebleau, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-10 victory against Cabrini on the 25th.
