Softball Game Preview: Hatton Hornets vs. Rogers Pirates

The Hatton Hornets will square off against the Rogers Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Hatton and eight for Rogers.

Hatton managed to slip by Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets came up short against the Wildcats on Monday, falling 13-2.

Lexie Kilpatrick was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Rogers' offense. They fell just short of Sparkman by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pirates have suffered since February 27th.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Hatton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-18-1.
