Softball Recap: East Helena Comes Up Short

If East Helena was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Park on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vigilantes came up short against the Stevensville Yellowjackets on Monday, falling 18-2.

East Helena saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Dearing, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

East Helena's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Stevensville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Helena will take on Fergus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stevensville, they will host Corvallis at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
