Volleyball Game Preview: Purdue Polytechnic Techies vs. Providence Cristo Rey Wolves

The Purdue Polytechnic Techies will venture away from home to square off against the Providence Cristo Rey Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Purdue Polytechnic and four for Providence Cristo Rey.

On Wednesday, Purdue Polytechnic came up short against Herron and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Providence Cristo Rey came up short against International on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Providence Cristo Rey was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.

Purdue Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Providence Cristo Rey, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Purdue Polytechnic suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Providence Cristo Rey in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Techies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
