Volleyball Recap: Downsville Takes a Loss

Downsville lost against St. Mary back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Demons fell 3-1 to the Tigers. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Downsville had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 17-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Downsville's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for St. Mary, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Downsville will host West Ouachita at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Mary, they will challenge Many at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
