Volleyball Recap: Oakridge Snags Ninth Win in Last Ten Games

There's no place like home for Oakridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. Andrew's Highlanders on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-20.

Oakridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. As for St. Andrew's, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 24-9.

Oakridge and St. Andrew's should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Owls (ranked 133rd) will meet St. Stephen's Episcopal (ranked 686th) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, St. Andrew's will take on Fort Worth Country Day at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (231 vs. 523).
