Baseball Recap: South Tahoe Takes a Loss

South Tahoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Wooster Colts, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 9-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

South Tahoe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angelo Abandondolo, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

South Tahoe's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Wooster, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.

South Tahoe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-2 victory against Sparks on the 4th. As for Wooster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-3 win against North Valleys on the 5th.
