Volleyball Recap: Valhalla Norsemen vs. Fallbrook Warriors

Valhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fallbrook Warriors. The Norsemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Connor Fairfax paced Valhalla's offense, picking up four kills. Fairfax got some help from Gno Casanova and his seven assists. Fairfax was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Valhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fallbrook, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Valhalla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against El Cajon Valley on the 28th. As for Fallbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Escondido Charter on the 28th.
