Peters Township has gone 8-2 against Baldwin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Peters Township barely beat North Hills the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Peters Township blew past North Hills 6-0 on Thursday. Peters Township not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 16, 2024.

Jack Stewart looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Colin Stofik was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Miner, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Baldwin kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Butler.

Peters Township's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Baldwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Peters Township's way against Baldwin when the teams last played back in April of 2019, as Peters Township made off with a 10-0 victory. Does Peters Township have another victory up their sleeve, or will Baldwin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
