Blue Ridge lost to St. Teresa back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Blue Ridge walked away with a 9-6 win over St. Teresa.

Ellie Schlieper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up ten Ks. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.

On the hitting side, Addison Roos was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Lillian Enger was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Blue Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Teresa only posted an OBP of .343.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for St. Teresa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Blue Ridge will square off against Iroquois West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Teresa, they will be playing at home against Decatur Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
