Football Recap: Livermore's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

Livermore lost against California back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cowboys came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 44-20. The matchup marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although Livermore took the loss, they still got scores from AJ Carey and Caden Romero.

California had a senior duo take command as Luke Taylor gained 164 total yards and three touchdowns and Banerjee Arjun threw for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. Taylor also set a new season-high mark in receiving yards with 130.

Having lost for the first time this season, Livermore fell to 5-1. As for California, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Livermore and California will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cowboys are set to take on their familiar foe Dublin at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, California will challenge rival San Ramon Valley at 7:15 p.m. on the 17th.
