Westosha Central had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kahlen Willis paced Westosha Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Willis got some help from Payton Scifres and her 14 assists. Scifres was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Whitefish Bay is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Westosha Central and Whitefish Bay will both be playing Germantown the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Warhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Blue Dukes will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
