Basketball Game Preview: Kingstree Blazers vs. Hemingway Tigers

The Kingstree Blazers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Hemingway Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Kingstree is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight games dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-52 heartbreaker at the hands of East Clarendon.

Meanwhile, Hemingway humbled Virtus Academy with a 52-17 victory.

Hemingway found their leader in freshman Quinton Hannah, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalil Brown, who posted four points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Hemingway now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Kingstree, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kingstree came up short against Hemingway in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 58-46. Can the Blazers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
