Football Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Mariner Marauders + How To Watch

The Everett Seagulls are taking a road trip to square off against the Mariner Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everett has given up an average of 29 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Everett came up short against Stanwood on Friday, falling 49-28.

Everett's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ian Lorio, who rushed for 115 yards and two scores, and Kai Schmidt, who picked up 82 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mariner, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Cascade with a sharp 27-7 win on Friday. That looming 27-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Marauders yet this season.

Mariner's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Everett, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everett was able to grind out a solid win over Mariner when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 21-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seagulls since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
