Volleyball Recap: Westview Comes Up Short

Westview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the NorthWood Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Westview still got an impressive performance from Briana (Bri) Kaufman, who had 11 digs and three assists. Kaufman has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Westview now has a losing record of 5-6. As for NorthWood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Westview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Angola on the 9th. As for NorthWood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Tippecanoe Valley on the 10th.
