South Salem not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the North Salem Vikings. The Saxons haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Salem was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-10.

Briella Mathis paced South Salem's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mathis got some help from Kamree Orizotti and her 30 assists. Avery Herber controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Salem's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for North Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Salem will square off against rival West Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Salem is set to face off against their familiar foe Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
