The Kerman Lions will head out to challenge the Wasco Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kerman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Tulare Western 41-20. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Kerman's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Torres, who threw for 274 yards and five TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Torres has posted since back in August. Jorge Antunez handled things on the ground, rushing for 106 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wasco, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Righetti, posting a 57-6 win. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Wasco's win came from a few key players Kerman will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jayven Hernandez, who rushed for 80 yards and one score on only six carries, and also threw for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Aiden Hulsey also helped out as he racked up 100 rushing yards.
Wasco didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Righetti to a completion percentage of just 31.8%. The Tigers have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.64 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.64 in their last three games.

Wasco's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Kerman, their record is now 8-3.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Kerman has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 150 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Wasco struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 293.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Kerman came up short against Wasco when the teams last played back in November of 2016, falling 26-22. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
