Anthony Wayne is a perfect 3-0 against Swanton since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Anthony Wayne Generals will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Swanton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Anthony Wayne is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell just short of Start by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. While the Generals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 25-18 in the first set.

Anthony Wayne started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Swanton was able to grind out a solid win over Start on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Swanton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Start between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14.

Anthony Wayne came out on top in a nail-biter against Swanton when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will Anthony Wayne repeat their success, or does Swanton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
