Football Recap: Milano Comes Up Short

Milano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 38-13 to the Bartlett Bulldogs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Milano still got an impressive performance from Dylan Magee, who rushed for 147 yards and a pair of TDs.

Milano's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bartlett, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Milano will face off against rival Somerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bartlett is set to square off against their familiar foe Iola at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
