Palisade extended their winning streak to seven on Saturday, bumping them up to 19-2. They put the hurt on the Rifle Bears with a sharp 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Jacob Porras looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Hunter Howard was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Dewitt, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

On Rifle's side, Tyler Arnold was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
Looking ahead, Palisade is taking a road trip to face off against Durango at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Demons have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Rifle, they will host Coal Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
