Volleyball Recap: Tipton Comes Up Short

Tipton was the 2-0 winner over Linn when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Tipton's offense was headlined by Kaitlyn Tuttle and Ava Schlotzhauer, who picked up seven kills apiece. Tuttle really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Finally, Kaylee Kuschel kept Tipton's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Linn, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Tipton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Dixon on the 2nd. As for Linn, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hallsville on the 30th.
