Loyola Blakefield won the last time they faced Gerstell Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dons took down Gerstell Academy 70-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dons.

Loyola Blakefield found their leader in sophomore Kaleb Haysbert, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards. Aiden Kane was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Loyola Blakefield has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loyola Blakefield is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Calvert Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Dons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Gerstell Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saint James at 5:00 p.m. on December 9.
