League recap: Ocean City rises in state rank

Ocean City scaled the state rankings by moving to 209 from 244 this week, the biggest jump in Cape-Atlantic - National. The Raiders climbed the ranks as a result of topping Triton 45-22.

Bridgeton added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Cinnaminson, 47-26. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Bulldogs.

St. Augustine Prep's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jose Tabora threw for 129 and 2 touchdowns and Austin Francisco had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Lamont Harris contributed 349 yards. Harris helped St. Augustine Prep's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 43 yards.

Harris provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Hermits topped St. Joseph. Harris' favorite target this week was Francisco, who caught 7 passes for 66 yards.

Harris was a beast in the backfield as St. Augustine Prep defeated the Falcons.

Tabora put up the best numbers through the air as Mark Reardon's team topped St. Joseph.

St. Augustine Prep's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Hermits feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tabora has thrown for 1,940 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Francisco has 55 catches for 1,011 yards.

Bridgeton's Stefon Bowman needs only 27 yards against Woodstown next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 134 carries Bowman has accumulated 973 yard this year.

Going into this week's game against St. Peter's Prep, the Hermits' Tabora needs 60 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.

Cedar Creek lost to Camden 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
