Crosstown kept a clean sheet against University on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. Crosstown might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Crosstown's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Crosstown will be playing in front of their home fans against Memphis East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memphis East's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Crosstown's offense will have their work cut out for them. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
