Volleyball Recap: Gulf Shores Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Gulf Shores came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Madison County Tigers by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Dolphins: when they faced off against the Tigers on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Macey Moore paced Gulf Shores' offense, picking up eight kills. Moore got some help from Velmira Sobol and her 14 assists. Moore was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Gulf Shores' win bumped their record up to 29-8. As for Madison County, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-19.

Gulf Shores didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Prattville Christian Academy on the 11th. As for Madison County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Orange Beach on the 11th.
