Basketball Recap: Open Door Christian Comes Up Short

If Open Door Christian was feeling good fresh off their 80-50 takedown of Lincoln West last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Open Door Christian Patriots took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Center Christian Tiger. The Patriots have struggled against the Tiger recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Open Door Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lake Center Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Open Door Christian will challenge Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Columbia will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Open Door Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Center Christian, they will take on Central Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Central Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
