Marshalltown posted their closest victory since July 1, 2025 on Monday. They skirted past the Lincoln Railsplitters 4-3. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Railsplitters recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Marshalltown's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Lincoln, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshalltown will face off against Ottumwa at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Mason City at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
