Basketball Recap: Taylor Miller and Darianna Mabon Secure Win for Hyde Park

Hyde Park won the last time they faced Christian Fenger Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 32-23 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Leading Hyde Park to victory were Darianna Mabon and Taylor Miller. Mabon dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards, while Miller posted 13 points and three steals.

Hyde Park now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Hyde Park won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Proviso East at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Christian Fenger Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chicago Vocational at 5:00 p.m. on December 3.
