Basketball Recap: Grand Prairie Comes Up Short

Grand Prairie lost against MacArthur back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gophers fell 40-31 to the Cardinals. The Gophers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grand Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for MacArthur, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grand Prairie and Carter-Riverside will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for MacArthur, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Southwest at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
