Basketball Recap: King Abdullah Academy Takes a Loss

If King Abdullah Academy was feeling good fresh off their 73-43 takedown of Wakefield Country Day last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The King Abdullah Academy Falcons took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tandem Friends Badgers on Friday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Badgers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Tandem Friends' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sean Tyler, who posted 19 points. Sincere Fordham was another key player, putting up 18 points.

King Abdullah Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Tandem Friends, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

King Abdullah Academy will host Wakefield School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Wakefield School will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something King Abdullah Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tandem Friends, they will head out on the road to face off against Fredericksburg Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tandem Friends is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season.
