Basketball Recap: Santana Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Santana was the 59-55 winner over Morse when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sultans took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Saturday.

Jaden Irasusta produced another solid effort shooting 58% from the field to rack up 19 points for Morse. The contest was Irasusta's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobi Palpallatoc, who went 6-for-7 on his way to 13 points and eight boards.

Santana has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Morse, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Santana will square off against O'Farrell Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morse, they will take on Chula Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
