Soccer Recap: Parowan Takes a Loss

Parowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of South Sevier. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against South Sevier this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in September.

Parowan's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for South Sevier, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Parowan will head out to square off against Gunnison Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parowan will be up against Gunnison Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.18 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Sevier, they will venture away from home to take on Grand County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Sevier's defense better be ready for this one: Grand County have averaged an impressive 4.6 goals per game this season.
