Bartow entered their tilt with Lake Region on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Thunder with a sharp 12-1 win. For the Yellow Jackets, this counts as revenge for the 7-1 victory the Thunder walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

Landon Davis and Dexter Allred dominated on the mound. Davis tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits, while Allred pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Allred has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Landon Thompson, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Trillion Venz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Bartow's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Lake Region, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, Bartow is taking a road trip to square off against Lake Gibson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.2 runs per game on average), something the Yellow Jackets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lake Region, they will be playing at home against Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
