Crescent City had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Newberry Panthers. The Raiders were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Raiders were just returning the favor.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Crescent City found their leader in sophomore Reagan Chayer, who had 11 digs and five assists.

Crescent City's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Newberry, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Crescent City has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against St. Joseph Academy on the 9th. As for Newberry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Saint Francis Catholic Academy on the 9th.
