Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Bulldogs vs. Harmony Eagles

Jefferson is 0-5 against Harmony since August of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jefferson will bounce into Friday's match after beating Chapel Hill, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Chapel Hill scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 14-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Harmony got the win against Daingerfield on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-6, 25-16.

Jefferson's record is now 13-22. As for Harmony, their record now sits at 14-11.

Jefferson might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Harmony in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
