Basketball Recap: Westbrook Comes Up Short

Westbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edward Little Red Eddies.

Westbrook's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Edward Little, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westbrook will take on Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edward Little, they will square off against Mt. Ararat at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Edward Little is facing Mt. Ararat at the right time seeing as Mt. Ararat is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
