Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph's Academy Find Success

St. Joseph's Academy won the last time they faced DuPont Manual and things went their way on Saturday too. The Angels had just enough and edged out the Crimsons 2-1.

Kathryn Teepe paced St. Joseph's Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Teepe got some help from Ashley Eveler and her 21 assists. Lucy Lynch controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

St. Joseph's Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for DuPont Manual, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

St. Joseph's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Mercy on the 13th. As for DuPont Manual, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Paul Laurence Dunbar on the 13th.
