Preview: Paoli Rams vs. Barr-Reeve Vikings
Paoli has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Barr-Reeve Vikings at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Paoli focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
Paoli scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They really took it to Clarksville for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-22 victory at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Paoli has managed all season.
It was another big night for Carley Higgins, who scored 26 points along with four steals. The match was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jehrico Hopper, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Barr-Reeve was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 34-30 to Loogootee.
Paoli pushed their record up to 5-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Barr-Reeve, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Paoli was able to grind out a solid victory over Barr-Reeve in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 42-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paoli since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
