Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Williams vs. Duxbury

The Archbishop Williams Bishops will head out on the road to square off against the Duxbury Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Duxbury took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Archbishop Williams, who comes in off a win.

Archbishop Williams was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Canton.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Duxbury's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Hingham by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Duxbury couldn't push the score so high this time.

Duxbury's loss dropped their record down to 14-3-1. As for Archbishop Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6-5.
