Football Recap: HEM Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Dubois

HEM faced Dubois in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Miners took a hard 52-33 fall against the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Miners in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Dubois got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zander Hawkins out in front who threw for 148 yards and five TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave Hawkins a new career-high. Seth Dvergsdal was another key player, picking up 110 receiving yards and four scores.

HEM's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dubois, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
