Soccer Recap: Pottsgrove Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Pottsgrove was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Phoenixville Phantoms, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Pottsgrove of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Elliot Varga, who's now up to three this season.

Pottsgrove's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Phoenixville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Pottsgrove has already played their next match (against Spring-Ford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Phoenixville, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Boyertown on the 17th.
